What is Geocaching?

Geocaching is a very exciting adventure game that uses the technology of gps units. The basic idea is to have teams of individuals use gps unit to find "caches" and/or more hunt clues. The gps users use the location coordinates to find the caches. Once found, a cache may provide the visitor with a wide variety of rewards or more clues to another location.

Geocaching Treasure Hunt

Guests use GPS units to traverse from area to area where they find information that will help them solve clues. After collecting and solving all of the clues, they are able to find the treasure!

Geocaching Experience

Guests use GPS units to find places of interest in a city, theme park, or other area of interest. When they find these locations, they must compete in Amazing Race type challenges to gain points for their team.

Other Geocaching Events

Using GPS units and some cryptic clues, guests search for secreted letterboxes to find clues that lead them to the next letterbox. For instance, guests may be given a coordinate and told that X marks the spot – the clue is buried on a nearby beach under a beach towel with the letter X on it.
