Hold The Phone Hunt - A Mobile Scavenger Hunt

Team pride is literally on the line in this mobile scavenger hunt that finds teams racing to survive against all others by completing more missions successfully than their competitors on the Android-enabled mobile phones provided to each team.

To kick the event off on the right tone, participants are organized onto teams. Each team receives 1) a mobile phone through which all of their missions are communicated and 2) a mobile scavenger hunt book containing information and a map they may need to refer to throughout the hunt. After a brief training session to ensure the team captains understand how to use their mobile phone, teams are off and running! Some of the missions teams may face include:

• Finding hunt items, which are "collected" via pictures taken on, or bar codes entered into the phone.
• Completing fun team challenges designed to put the spotlight on the hunt area and your company.
• Solving puzzles and clues that are texted to a team, or printed in the mobile scavenger hunt book.
• Taking pictures that put team creativity to the test, or that require teams to hunt down a certain location.

Throughout the mobile scavenger hunt, teams get updates on who is in the lead, spurring them to overcome their hang-ups and answer the call to take the lead. Finally, at a set time, teams are told to make their way to the mobile scavenger hunt ending location and turn in their phones. After a short hold - during which teams' photos can be shown if desired - the winning team's name rings out and all participants on that team are called forward to collect their award medals.
