Photo Scavenger Hunt - Team Building Activity
If you’re hunting for the perfect team building activity – you’ve found it!
As participants enter the event, they receive a bandanna, which serves as team identification for the team building activity. Next, teams receive a Photo Scavenger Hunt rulebook, which outlines what they’ll need to seek out around the resort throughout the team building activity including:
A list of scavenger hunt items - Some, like a cocktail napkin, are straightforward. Others, such as a tip, require creativity. Will teams bring back money, or will they bring back a Q-tip or a picture of Tipper Gore? The more creative they get, the more points they earn!
Mystery locations – Photographs picturing locations around the event area are in the team building activity rulebook. However, the photographs have been taken at extreme close-up. So, teams must be very aware of their surroundings. For instance, if teams are alert, they’ll realize that the yellow circle with a pink insert is actually one of the suckers on the octopus found poolside!
Once they’ve found a mystery location, they must take a team photograph to fit the assigned caption for this location. For instance, at the octopus, teams may have to pose for a photograph wearing their best fish face!
Puzzles – Throughout the team building activity, teams must also solve puzzles as they roam the event location. Some may be trivia questions about the event area, while others may be a clue that can only be solved after viewing a particular location within the event area.
At a set time at the end of the team building activity, teams turn in their rulebooks and cameras. While they take a break, the event leader tallies up team points for every item they found, picture they took and puzzle they solved. Upon completion of the break, the winning team is revealed and award medals are handed out to each participant on that team.
