If you wanted to build a dream home would you say, “Build the same old thing and don’t worry about planning or talking to your construction team?"
Of course not! Likewise, if you want to build towards a dream at work, you’d want people to get creative, collaborate, communicate and work towards a common goal. Although designing and racing a chariot, cardboard boat or produce racecar may seem silly at first, that’s what these team building activities are all about!

Chariots Afire - Build & Race A Chariot
These sweet chariots may swing low, but spirits are sure to be high! Teams build chariots to carry them home across the finish line of an obstacle-filled racecourse.

Float Your Boat – Cardboard Boat Building Regatta
"Whatever floats your boat" are good words to live by. But, in this team building activity, they are essential, as teams must build a boat capable of holding two of their teammates in a race against all other teams. The boat-building materials? Nothing more than cardboard and duct tape!

Spud Racer – Fruit & Veggie Racecar Derby
Usually when you talk about produce and heat in the same sentence, it’s time for dinner. But, not in this team building activity! Teams create racecars out of fruit, vegetables and materials provided. Then, race them on pinewood derby-type tracks in a series of heats to determine the overall winner.
