Collaborative Team Building Activities Allow Employees To Work Through Challenges In A Safe and Non-Threatening Environment
Truly effective business games are set up as a safe way for staff to learn about themselves. A great example of this is in our activity “Top Scorers and Team Players.” In this corporate team building exercise, participants apply their business skills to the world of competitive sports. In this event participants are assigned to different teams. Some teams represent team managers whose goal is to build the best professional soccer team by signing top talent, while others are out to earn the most cash as they represent the media and player agencies. All three groups must work together to be successful, but how do these three very different “jobs” find common ground to win the game? The lessons that attendees discover are related to their own jobs – what they’re doing right – and could be doing better. This team bonding exercise helps them learn in a non-threatening way how they can be better as a company moving forward!
